1. Evaluates and improves manufacturing methods.
2. Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
3. Estimates production times, staffing requirements and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
4. Develops, implements, and administers policies and procedures for business unit operations that are consistent with Quality manufacturing functions and lean continuous improvement.
5. Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
6. Reviews production orders and or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities and specifications of products and scheduled delivery.
7. Assists in creating, updating and maintaining all documents required for product launch/production.
8. Assists in successful launch of all new parts or changes to current production parts.
9. Creates or updates bill of materials, process flows, failure mode effective analysis (FMEA), and tooling authorization to proceed (TATP).
10. Assists in applying statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
11. Complies with policies and procedures pertaining to facility or divisional adopted standards such as TS 16949 and ISO 14001.
12. Utilizes the concepts of continuous improvement and cost reduction in the execution of the job function.
1. Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related technical field required.
2. Minimum of up to two years experience in engineering or other technical field in the production environment.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
