CONTROLLER FINANCE Summary As a key member of the senior management group, the Controller will assume a strategic role in executing all of the finance functions of the corporation in accordance with company objectives and policies.
Responsible for management of the company's finances by insuring compliance with all regulations and information required to achieve our annual and long-term strategic plans.
Essential Functions 1.
Responsible for all aspects of Finance - direct, plan, develop, organize, implement, and evaluate.
2.
Responsible for essential standard cost functions of Contour Glass.
3.
Responsible for identifying opportunities to improve systems, metrics and controls.
4.
Strong participant in the development of the company's strategic plans and programs.
5.
Acts as a business partner in evaluating and advising the impact of strategic business decisions and analysis of strategic alternatives.
6.
In the area of Finance:
a.
Responsible for the company's finance function including monthly, quarterly and annual reporting in accordance with GAAP, project reporting and analysis and evaluation of key business opportunities.
Specific management of CPA audit, operational and management reporting, credit, and collections.
b.
Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, project proposals and business trends in all areas of the company to assist the CEO/President and the Board and other senior executives in performing their responsibilities.
c.
Develop strategic financial objectives that will continually improve the company's ability to manage costs and improve productivity by developing effective metrics, implementing standard reports/systems, and educating department managers on opportunities and best practices.
d.
Develop and implement systems to ensure that the company maintains true and accurate costs for all parts sold and purchased in the ERP system, actual costs are matched with revenues, all costs are being accounted for in our system, and discrepancies in costs and/or prices are appropriately identified and addressed.
e.
Ensure that an effective Internal Control system is in place that maintains compliance with all federal, state and local regulatory laws as well all rules and laws for financial and tax reporting.
f.
Supervises the accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll functions.
g.
Work closely with CPA firm to ensure accurate and timely preparation of quarterly tax payments and annual tax return.
h.
Responsible for developing and managing all aspects of employee benefits including payroll, health insurance, life insurance, disability and retirement.

Qualifications:

years of professional experience as a finance and administrative executive with appropriate experience in a manufacturing environment, standard costing, and a demonstrated track record of increased job responsibilities.
2.
Diverse experiences in developing and managing a range of administrative areas of responsibility.
3.
A strategic vision with sound technical skills, problem solving skills, analytical ability, good judgment, high ethical standards and strong operational focus, able to make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
4.
Strong eye for detail and accuracy.
5.
An energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual capable of developing processes and systems that drive continuous improvement across the entire company who possesses a sense of urgency and is results oriented.
6.
An intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills.
7.
A good educator who is trustworthy, willing to share information and serve as a mentor to all employees.
8.
Ability to motivate and maintain effective working relationships with staff and partners.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Related Bachelor's degree, MBA or Masters Degree preferred.
Salary commensurate with experience.
