They will lead the development and maintenance of best-practice QA systems and the implementation of safe, environmentally friendly, efficient, and effective production by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Job Duties and
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and manage quality and reliable testing using best practice systems of Quality Assurance.
Ensure adherence to the latest inspection requirements and customer specifications.
Collect, analyze, and report quality and cost data, using analytics.
Propose ways to increase production efficiency and reduce product quality issues in production meetings.
Develop strategic plans and a roadmap.
Measure the progress.
Identify, analyze, and document internal/ external quality issues, defects, and other problems.
Work with the Production staff to recommend, approve, and facilitate solutions, including implementing temporary measures/specs, to mitigate these issues.
Communicate issues internally and externally.
Analyze client feedback and complaints and respond with countermeasures.
Lead the facility's continuous improvement activities.
Involve all associates in quality process improvement efficiently and effectively by using management techniques, technologies and tools such as Kaizen.
Obtain, maintain and manage certification of ISO9001, CQI-9 and other beneficial Quality Management Systems.
Attend external and client audits.
Perform training in all aspects of Quality Management Systems.
Measure the effectiveness.
Create, revise, and manage work instructions, SOPs, records, and forms.
Manage the knowledge in the dept.
Follow strict safety rules and encourages associates to do the same.
Lead and support the team by providing coaching and guidance.
Manage the direct reports' performance, workplace well-being, and career development.
Develop succession planning.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local, organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies.
Manage calibration plan for measurement equipment.
Maintain the latest QA, certifications, and industry knowledge.
Network with professionals, clients, suppliers, regulators, and other relevant organizations to keep the knowledge up-to-date and to improve Miyake's quality standard.
Performs other duties as assigned or required.

A minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
Experience in managing as a head of QA department in manufacturing is a must.
Demonstrated experience in developing and deploying strategies and delivering targeted results.
Experience in QA in bearing or similar industry highly preferred.
Demonstrated initiative and experience in continuously improving systems for efficiency and effectiveness.
Knowledge of relevant legal/regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
ISO and/or IATF internal auditor certified professional preferred.
Experience in successfully managing a team of 3 people and more (preferred).
